About

What I do, and how I do it.

I come from B2B tech, and for the past few years I've worked in cybersecurity. I was part of the core team behind a full rebrand, a brand refresh and two website redesigns, and co-created a set of company values.

My MA is in Applied Psychology, and that's still where every project starts for me: where will people's attention go, what will they actually understand, and what will they remember a week later? Those questions decide whether the work lands.

I moved into strategy and leadership through hands-on work, and I haven't let go of it. I still design, direct and edit, which makes my briefs sharper and my feedback more useful. I set a high bar for the work, and I look after the people doing it.

Recommendation

“She owned execution end-to-end… she sought out responsibility, absorbed new challenges faster than most, and never waited to be asked twice.”

What I bring to a team

Brand consistency and guidelines

I keep the website, decks, social media, sales material and events consistent with the brand, and turn it into practical guidelines and ready-made templates that non-designers can actually use.

Content and campaign creative direction

I set the creative direction for content and campaigns across digital, print, video and events, working with in-house and agency teams, and still design a good share of it myself.

Brand and product video

Product explainers, employer branding films and keynote openers, from brief and script to final cut. I direct the shoot and lead the crew, editors or agency, so complex technology becomes a story people can follow.

International events, end to end

I lead trade shows and customer conferences from concept to show floor: booth design, stage look, swag, signage, suppliers and budgets, all built around the conversations and leads the business needs. I often photograph them myself too.

01Videography

Films I've directed.

In cybersecurity, the product often gives you nothing to point a camera at. The work is making it visible anyway, and simple enough to follow. The credit on each film shows my role: where it says only “Directed”, I led the project from creative concept to final delivery, with an agency or colleagues handling production.

You asked, we delivered: Promon's vision for the future of mobile app security

Opening film for the ShieldCon keynote. Instead of showing the threat, I let the audience imagine it, using perceptual completion, the brain's habit of filling in what it can't see. The story: we don't just listen to customers, we see what's coming before they do.

The Story of Promon: 20 Years of Protecting What Matters

A documentary for Promon's 20th anniversary, told through the founders' own experiences. I treated it as a short film, not a corporate video: real stories, no perfect answers, and the shape found in the edit.

Events I've led.

Fourteen countries on five continents: trade shows, sponsored summits and a hosted customer conference in Oslo, built with local suppliers.

Case studies

Two events, opposite briefs.

A six-figure sponsored booth at a 44,000-person show in San Francisco, and a six-figure invite-only conference for fifty top customers in Oslo.

Sponsored trade-show presence

RSA Conference, San Francisco

“We put a working oven in a trade-show booth.”

Budget
Six figures (USD)
Conference scale
~44,000 attendees
Format
Booth, activation, swag, leads

Challenge

At a show this big, the booth fee only gets you floor space. RSA is a big, loud show. Around 600 exhibitors spend four days talking to the same buyers, and the sponsorship fee only buys you the floor space. Whether anyone stops at the booth, and whether those conversations are worth anything afterwards, comes down to what you plan months before the doors open.

Approach

I turned the booth into a house, and baked cookies in it for all four days. The concept, “the home of mobile app security”, grew out of the theme I'd created for the company's customer conference, so both events told the same story. Adding a working oven was my call. Once people came over, they tried an ROI calculator we'd built for the show on tablets, putting in their own numbers to see what the solution would save them. Swag and signage followed the same idea, so the stand read as one thing rather than three.

Why it worked

People smell cookies before they read a sign. Smell reaches people before a sign does, and it pulls them in before they've decided to stop. The calculator then made the conversation about their numbers, not ours. The booth did the inviting, so the team could spend its time talking to the right people.

What I owned
  • Sponsorship package selection and vendor negotiation
  • Booth logistics with the manufacturer: design, build, freight, install and dismantle
  • Swag: selection, ordering, production timelines and shipping
  • Lead capture: scanning, qualifying questions, CRM field mapping
  • Budget ownership against a six-figure envelope
  • Booth concept and creative direction
  • The ROI calculator activation, built for this show
  • Booth content and messaging: signage copy and collateral
  • On-site crew coordination across all four days

Owned white-glove executive event

Hosted customer conference, Oslo

“Fifty of the company's most important customers, in one room, for two days.”

Budget
Six figures (USD)
Guests
50 top-tier customers, invite only
Format
Two days, in person + live-streamed

Challenge

Fifty key customers in the room, more watching online, and no room for mistakes. This was one of two customer conferences I worked on. The other grew to hundreds of attendees; this one was a white-glove programme for fifty top customers, also streamed live. Everyone in the room was someone the company could not afford to disappoint, and the programme had to work just as well for people watching from a desk.

Approach

I started with the theme and built everything else around it. The theme came first, and everything else was checked against it: what the keynote said, how the room looked, what people were handed, what the stream cut to between sessions. Working that way with the production company meant the technical build and the creative idea were decided together, instead of one being retrofitted to the other.

Why it worked

The room, the stage and the stream all felt like one event. At that level, guests notice when details don't match. One theme gave everyone, from the AV crew to the speakers, the same test for every decision, so the room, the stage and the stream felt like one experience.

What I owned
  • Creative direction: the conference theme and how the brand showed up on stage, in the room and in every piece of material
  • Concept development with the event production company, who handled AV and the technical build
  • Guest curation with Sales and Customer Success: invite list and seating
  • Speaker and content coordination, including run-of-show and briefing packs
  • Messaging and content direction across both days
  • Venue sourcing
  • Programme design: keynote, breakouts, executive dinner, off-programme moments
  • On-site execution and crew management across both days

04Swag

Swag I've produced.

The best swag carries an idea, not just a logo: socks marked “at rest” and “at runtime”, or candles for a booth built as a house. Some pieces I designed myself, and I handled every one from choosing the product to shipping it on deadline. Each appears twice: the design, and a mockup of the finished piece.

05Photography

Photos I've shot.

I shot and edited all of these. I've chosen event photos because they show the most range: changing light, no second takes and people who aren't posing. All of them were delivered ready for social media, press and the company website.

06Leadership

How I lead.

On every project I own, I lead the people who make the work: in-house specialists, agencies across Europe and colleagues across the company. What keeps them moving is clarity: a sharp brief, feedback with the reasoning behind it, and a calm head when deadlines get close.

Delivering a neuromarketing workshop

Leading the in-house team

I lead the in-house content writer and graphic designer on every content project I own. I align the stakeholders, set the brief and the creative direction, and keep everyone on one clear idea until the work is delivered. I also handle all the internal coordination, so the people making the work can stay focused on it.

What an in-house colleague says ↓

Steering partners across Europe

I set the creative direction for motion agencies and animation teams in London, Ireland, Bulgaria and Oslo, then brief, coordinate and steer them through every project. Working across cultures has taught me to adapt how I communicate, so feedback lands the same way wherever the team is based.

What an agency partner says ↓

Brand Champions, built and led

I co-created the Brand Champions employer branding programme, onboarded all 15 champions and led the group for a year, with monthly check-ins that turned colleagues into confident, on-brand content creators.

Cross-functional to C-level

I bring product marketing, sales, design and motion specialists together around one story, and report on all of my work to the C-level. The brief for the explainer film above came straight from the CEO and CTO.

What my former CMO says ↓

What shapes how I lead.

The psychology behind it

My MA in Applied Psychology meant five years of methodological training and research involving 3,000 participants. It's why I treat leadership as a question of human behaviour: how trust is built, what motivates someone, and how feedback lands.

From the court

I played volleyball professionally and won a national title. The final is what people ask about. What I remember is the season: the early mornings, the losses we had to talk our way back from, the teammates who needed a push and the ones who needed quiet. That's where I learned to set a big goal, break it into days, and lead people through the hard middle. Now I run marathons, one kilometre at a time.

Trusted beyond my role

Chosen as the company's AI representative, and recognised with a company award in the Ambition category.
